Staying true to our 'classically radical' approach to winemaking – fusing old traditions with new techniques, we are proud to be releasing a stellar lineup of white wines, including beloved Hunter Valley Semillon and Chardonnay, extremely limited quantities of Albariño, Fiano and Viognier plus the our first Chardonnay from the family vineyard in Orange that just won Best Chardonnay at the 2024 James Halliday Chardonnay & Cabernet Challenge.
Whilst the 2023 Chardonnay wines were initially handled by Alex Beckett, the rest of the wines have been produced by incumbent winemaker, Andrew Duff. His knowledge and experience is evident in the 2024 whites with precision, complexity and enjoyability all at the forefront in this release.
The latest rendition of our most awarded wine. Grown in the oldest Semillon block onsite that is uniquely planted in clay soils rather than the more typical sandy soils of Pokolbin. This wine has a palate that is slightly more full and giving in its youth before ramping up with age.
A new wine honouring our second generation owner, Jaclyn Davis. This first release was sourced from the Murphy's Vineyard in Pokolbin. A traditional style of Semillon with vibrant citrus flavours and immense ageability.
From the vineyard’s best block of Chardonnay, south facing and planted on a 450-million-year-old marine fossil ridge, matured for 15 months in French oak, the result is a powerful yet restrained Hunter Valley Chardonnay.

Rated Best Chardonnay in the Australian 2024 James Halliday Chardonnay & Cabernet Challenge!
The latest iteration of our favourite alternate varietal. Lemon zest and grapefruit dominate whilst the palate is texturally olive brine in nature, viscous and perfectly balanced.
Fiano, our favourite Italian varietal is back and better than ever. Showcasing ginger spice, Nashi pear and subtle nutty characters on the palate.
Concentrated peach, citrus and honeysuckle are complemented by French oak savoury and vanilla for a richly textured style of wine with a crisp acidity.
This will available for purchase online and on taste in our Cellar Door from this October Long Weekend - 5th October 2024.
